The Mission of Web3 Women in Science is to address the critical underrepresentation of womxn at the intersection of science and web3, sometimes referred to as "DeSci" for Decentralized Science.

We are a community with teeth. Our core tenets are: (1) serving as an efficient pipeline to onboad women into novel and existing DeSci organization and (2) serving as the web3 evolution of labor union, providing the support needed to keep women in this space once they arrive. In the future, holding our NFT will grant membership and voting rights, including meta-voting using community-owned governance tokens for DeSci DAOs.

Our Team

Our team reflects a diverse skillset and assortment of professional backgrounds in the fields of science, technology, and even law. Our unique perspectives provide a foundation on which we seek to build a more open, equitable, and robust international scientific community in the web3 space.
